My dear friend,
Please know that Johnny and I are praying for you and your family. There are no words to express how sad we feel at the loss of such a great man. Praise the Lord that he is with our Lord right at this moment.
All our love and prayers to you and your entire family.
Nate and I have been praying for you constantly too. We wish we could be there tomorrow at the funeral, but Nate couldn't get off work that day. Please know that we will be thinking of your family though, and bringing you guys before the Lord in prayer. We love you all.
We too have been praying, Brooke. We wish we could be there tomorrow, but we'll be praying that the Gospel will touch hearts for eternity. Wouldn't that be awesome?!
I was thinking tonight of how hard this must be for you, and I want you to know that we love you and are praying that the Lord will comfort you both during this time.
Brooke, The funeral today was such a wonderful reminder of how God can work in a mans life and how that can affect so many other people. Your dad was a real inspiration to me - to live for the Lord. I will be praying for you and your family. Love you, Laura Renes
Brooke,
So glad I was able to attend your dad's funeral today. So refreshing to know that now your dad is in the prescence of the Lord Jesus Christ, even as I'm typing these words, even as you're reading these words, for now and forever. I didn't get a chance to meet your husband but he had some awesome words to share today. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need anything.
In HIS grip,
Kimberly
We are so sorry. We are praying Brook.
Brooke, you and your family have been constantly on my heart and in my prayers since I heard of your loss. I heard the funeral was an amazing tribute to your father's life and his testimony of His savior. I love you and am praying for you.
Just the day before your father went home to Glory, I happened upon your blog through the blog links of my former students from Iowa. While my heart hurts with you, I am at the same time thrilled to hear from others that he was a dear saint, and that his funeral celebration (that's really what Christian funerals are) was an opportunity for the gospel to be clearly presented. I am praying for your family.
Jenny
Josh and Brooke,
I came across your blog a few minutes ago. I am saddened by the loss and Michelle, my wife, and I will be praying for both of you.
