Burger Point Part 2 - EDITED

today marks 2 months that my Dad has been gone. i wanted to post something today and so i was glad when they emailed us these pictures and let us know that the monument has been put in place. So, it is now officially Burger Point! i haven't been out to see it yet, but here is one of the photos. i didn't crop it so you could see the view.

my Dad was not a perfect man, but i am just so thankful for the testimony that he left behind. i am so thankful that his testimony impacted the people he came in contact with. he loved others, his fruit was good and he has left behind evidence of these things. he left earth on a high note -- living for the Lord! thank you Lord for your work in my Dad's life and for your perfect timing.

'By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.' John 13:35

'So every good tree bears good fruit...' Matthew 7:17a

also, a local news station did a special report featuring Dad's "story". they interviewed my Mom and JC. if you are interested you can watch the segment by going to KOTV. on the homepage they have a section called E-Clips. the story on Dad is called "Illigal Immigrants in Car Crashes" and the reporter was tami marler. We were pretty pleased with the way the story turned out. she steared clear of any "bashing" which we were very thankful for.

We saw that news segment last night. It was very well done. Many of us prayed last night at meeting for Mr. Rodriguez salvation.

It was such an honor to know your dad. We tasted of his fruit and it was so sweet. You have that same flavor Brooke.

"Let those who love the Lord be like the sun when it comes out in full strenth". Jud.5:31
