happy valentine's day guys! i just want to tell all of you that i love you!
andrea, i love your fun outgoing personality. you have a wonderful zest for life and i love it!
april, i love your friendship to me. you are loyal and honest and have always been there for me! you are a wonderful momma and i love watching and learning from you. thank you for being my friend (although i'm glad you don't still hold my hand when we walk around places) :o)
brandon, you are a great friend. you are always so kind and loving. i'm so glad grace met you and introduced you to us. we are blessed to know you!
grace, you have been such an encouragement to me over the past few years. you were always there for me when i needed to 'vent' about "being just friends" with someone. :o) you were one of the first people at the chapel to reach out to me and i am so thankful for you!
heather, even though you live forever away and i don't see you anymore, i will always remember the years when you picked on me and called me 'brick'.
jenica, we haven't been able to spend a lot of time getting to know each other, but the times we have spent visiting have been wonderful. i love the way that you are completely genuine. i always feel so comfortable around you and i love that!
kelly, it's been a long time since we spent the weekend together, but i will always remember those fun days at turkey hill. you were such an encouragement to me that summer. it was definitely a life-changing summer and you played a huge role in that!
marcie, you have been such a blessing to us in tulsa! you have the most wonderful and sweet spirit and your joyfulness is always an encouragement to me.
marti, i am always encouraged by you. you have always sought to 'teach the younger women' the truths of scripture. you are a living testimony of a woman who loves her husband and i have been so blessed by your testimony.
rachel, you have always been an encouragement to me, but especially during those years when you visited tulsa. you were always a solid example of a young woman who loved the Lord and desired to serve him. you were encouraging with your actions and your words. the Lord used you in my life in a mighty way!
ruth, i love your quiet, sweet personality. you have a creativity about you too that is a gift from the Lord and you use it to bless others.
shawna, you have been such an encouragement to me lately. your work in the topeka chapel has convicted me and you have been so willing to discuss things with me and encourage me.
i know there are others of you who frequent my blog. i love all of you and each of you are a blessing to me in different ways. i love the way the Lord has given each person a unique personality and that each different personality blesses people in just the way needed. i don't think it is just coincidence that each of us know one another. i think the Lord knew that each of us needed the other one to bless or encourage in a specific area. praise the Lord for wonderful, Godly friends and family!

Brook, how sweet you are! I have noticed how you see the postive in people and here's proof of that!
Hey! What about me? ;-)
aww...poor Josh! Brooke this is really sweet of you! Thank you!
Wow, Brooke...you are SO thoughtful to write all that. What an encouragement it is for me to read how others have blessed you...it in turn blesses me. Thank you for your kindness.
Aw, Brooke! How sweet of you to think of writing something like that! I really appreciate the card that you sent me at one point too...it is such an encouragement to TELL each other how much we mean to each other.
I agree with you...I think the Lord has been very generous in giving us our friendships, especially the ones that are long-distance. The Lord is working in each of our lives, and it is exciting to see Him work in yours!
Brooke, You are so sweet. I too am thankful for the friends in my life that each bring something different to my life. God truly knows what we need and used friends and family is ways that only He can. Happy Valentines Day! (I heard someone refer to it as "Single Awareness Day" so it isn't one of my favorite holidays) :)
