*okay, april. i managed to make time for a new post. i am doing this only for you! feel special?*
today we celebrated Pappy and Grandma's 50th wedding anniversary. we were all a little concerned about whether or not this would be terribly emotional for all of us since this was the first get-together without my Dad. i prayed all week that we would be able to have a good time and just enjoy what we did have and not what we didn't have. i think the Lord was very gracious and it was a wonderful time together with family. i have quite a few pictures to share too (again, all for april). :o)

Pappy is a razorback fan (they're from Arkansas)
Mom wanted them to do the cake like you would at a wedding. it was going okay until...
Pappy decided to just feed himself the cake! it was funny. guess he was afraid Grandma would smash it into his face.
he did feed Grandma her piece though.

i thought these were sweet. Jayden is wearing Pappy's hat.
Payton took over as photographer for a while. i thought this one was funny. good job Payton!

I do feel special! I must've forgot it was their 50th wedding anniversary but Happy Anniversary to them.
Brooke - give them a big congrats for me. I don't see them often enough! Glad the day was so special!
