Welcome Little Finley Jude

I noticed that no one had posted about the new addition to our world, so I thought I would. Finley Jude was born this morning by C-Section. He weighed 8lbs and 6oz and was 21 inches long.

The spinal block did not take so they had to put April completely under. She was still pretty groggy when I talked to her and still hadn't seen Finley! He was busy getting all the gunk cleaned off of him and was due back shortly for his first chow time.

They are both doing good. April said that little Finn would be getting an ultrasound sometime before he goes home to check on the enlarged ventricle that they have been keeping an eye on. Pray for the results of that test!

Josh and I are in Reno (for training for Josh's work), so we don't get to see him until Saturday or Sunday! Hopefully Marcie will have some pictures to post for us soon. April said that they were having trouble getting the internet working in her room, but keep checking in on April and Marcie's blog and surely someone will have pics soon!
