"Closet Makeover"

Well, I have all these sewing projects I want to do and my excuse for not getting them done is that I don't want to have to drag out all my sewing stuff for an hour or so and then have to put it all away again... then drag it out for an hour or so the next day and so on. We discussed turning our guest room into a sewing room, but really didn't want to give up our guest room. SO!!! I decided to just make the closet into my "sewing room".

Feast your eyes on my new, luxurious sewing room!

I felt the need to zoom in on my cool pin cushion. Teresa made this for me for Christmas 2006. I love it and finally have a place to display it!

My "helper". Doesn't she look like she's having SO much fun?!

I feel honored to have the pincoushion displayed. Cool sewing room! I didn't have a "sewing room" until we lived in our Tulsa house!

Love it! I did the same thing in our guest room closet, and I'm so glad I did. It's nice to always have your sewing machine out.

I am inspired now...to do that to our guest room closet.
You did a great job!

I have to correct my mom...she didn't have a sewing room until I moved out! The next week, bam, sewing room! Some parents make a shrine out of their kids' rooms. Not mine!! Your sewing closet is very cool! It looks wonderfully organized!

Wow! My daughter and I just discussed how we could convert her 'unused' guest closet into a sewing center...to keep her clutter off the dining table. Thanks for giving us a visual. It's GREAT!
