Here is our porch. See that wreath to the left? It has seen it's last spring and must be replaced. I switch to a new wreath each season, so I am just sick of them. What could I hang in place of it? I need something or the poor little wall looks too bare. I love creative ideas... you know, turning trash into treasure kind of things. Cheap is good too!
Okay, Sophie is gnawing my arm off about now, so I must go. Shower me with your ideas!

Okay, so this may sound odd but it should be cheap. I've found gas stove grates (that thing the pot sits on) before for cheap at flea market type shops. I've thought about hanging them in an arrangement before...Just haven't done it yet. I think that would look nice with your metal/wood bench AND you could spray paint them any color if you wanted color instead of just black. You could also reuse them later if you're tired of them hanging in that area.
Here's a link for what some look like if you're confused :)

I've made a bunch of wreaths using cheap wreath frames from Hobby Lobby, ribbon, flowers, leaves, etc. I get bored with mine, too. My goal is to have a different one for each month of the year, but my husband, for some reason, finds this to be a bit obsessive. Go figure! I think it would be awesome to make one with little bitty clay pots on it and plant something real in the pots. Herbs, maybe?
Have you checked out Hobby Lobby and their clearance isle lately? I have found a lot of really neat iron decor for cheap prices. However, I tend to like iron a little much.
First off... loving the new background.
Secondly... I have no opinions on the wall.
Thirdly... ya know how I'm kinda stupid? Well now that both you and April have removed your links to others blogs, I don't know how to find them. Except for the ones I already know the names of. And lots of people's I guess are blocked so I can't click on them even when they comment. Is there a way for me to find the links and subscribe to them?
I like your idea Reagan.
Hmmm...
Whatever "it" is I would make it a lot bigger than the wreath.
What would make a person want to sit on that bench?...
One idea is a shelf (or 2) with clay potted plants. In the winter you could replace them with mini potted evergreen trees.
Go to your local flea market and see if something catches your eye.
Yeah, I'm with Andrea...I can't read other people's blogs now. I also am stupid. Maybe that's where she gets it.
I would go with something bigger, too. I'm in to really BRIGHT, especially for spring. HOB LOB has their outdoor bright spring stuff on sale, including great big flowers. Just a thought.
