Books

Anyone read any good books lately? I have been so in the mood to read lately. I'm more a fan of non-fiction, especially biographies, history, or weird medical books (check this one out - it's awesome).

Okay. That book title makes my head crawl. I think I saw that lady on a TV show one time. I am not sure when or where but it was something about how a specific type of fly landed on her and laid eggs in her skull. She kept feeling a bump grow and went to the doctor who put vaseline and plastic over it to suffocate it. ugh my head is crawling! I saw it after it was out of her head. The whole thing was creeping me out but I couldn't look away!

I have no book suggestions for you...if that's the type of thing you like :)

I won't be reading that book. I don't need more reasons to be paranoid... You must have a strong psyche.

I keep wanting to re-read "Christy" by Catherine Marshall. It's a great story of a girl who seeks to reach the backwards (in the early 1900s) people of the Smoky Mountains for Christ. So good.

I have been reading anything James Patterson for as long as I can remember and every time I start one of his books I can't put it down until I am finished! He has quite a few and they are mostly suspense and he is for the most part a very clean writer. He has a lot of series books so make sure and pay attention to whether there is a book that precedes it or not. Hope that helps!!

i've been in the mood to read lately, too. and while i like fiction better than non, i totally want to read the book you linked too! i was so mad when the preview wouldn't go any further! if i hadn't just started a book (and gasp! paid for it too) i'd go out and get that one. i'll wait.

i've been trying to find something to read, and even this last book that i purchased is less than satisfying.

i will tell you that "devil in the white city" has been recommended to me many times, and i have yet to read it. the way people enthusiastically talk about it though, it sounds great.
so if you read it, let me know what you think! :)

"Hinds Feet On High Places," by Hannah Hurnard (I think that's how you spell her last name) is a great book. I need to get it out and read it again!
